¡Hola! My name is Lidia, I am from Spain and I love teaching Spanish because it is a very rewarding and enriching experience. I would like to help you achieve your goals in learning this beautiful language.

I have 5 years of teaching experience and I studied a Degree in English Studies and three Master's Degrees in Education, Multilingual Communication and Spanish for Foreign Students. I have been teaching online since 2020, and before I was a teacher assistant of Spanish at a primary school in the United States. I also have experience teaching adults at University level.

I like to combine my love for languages with traveling. I have worked or studied in countries such as France, England, Chile or the United States. My hobbies include reading, writing, music, dancing, yoga, and watching films, series and documentaries.

In my opinion, to learn a language you have to speak as much as possible with little concern about making mistakes because it is part of the learning process and practice makes perfect. I fully understand the frustration of spending years studying a language, knowing all the grammar and tons of vocabulary but not being able to communicate and make a meaningful sentence.

With some teachers we don't have the chance to practice our oral skills and then we may give up when we have trouble understanding native speakers. It is not your fault, there are teaching methods that do not prepare us to go out into the real world and communicate effectively. I want to break with that pattern and I propose you to do activities that enhance all skills equally, as well as to focus on each task before moving to something new, so that everything is understood and there are no obstacles to your growth.

My lessons are dynamic and interactive because I believe that a language course must be engaging and entertaining. We can discuss your needs and decide how to approach the class according to your ideas and expectations, but I always try to make them entertaining and full of relevant content.
